padelsworld.com ("padelsworld", "we") is an independent guide to padel clubs. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what your rights are.
Who we are
The website is operated by Rantisi LTD, a company registered in Bulgaria, VAT number BG208400728, registered address bl. 145, et. 10, ap. 55, zh.k. Hadzhi Dimitar, r-n Poduyane, 1510 Sofia, Bulgaria. Rantisi LTD is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at office@padelsworld.com.
What we collect and why
When you browse the site. We don't use analytics, advertising or social-media tracking. Like every website, our server and our network provider (Cloudflare) process technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, so that the site can be delivered and protected against abuse. This data is kept only for a limited period for security and troubleshooting. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
The map. Map tiles are loaded from OpenFreeMap directly by your browser, so OpenFreeMap receives your IP address. If you use "Near me", your device's location is used only inside your browser to show nearby clubs. It is never sent to us.
Newsletter. If you subscribe, we store your email address, your language, the topics you chose, and when you agreed and confirmed. Legal basis: your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in our emails or by writing to us, and we will stop emailing you.
"Club not listed?" form. We store the club name, city and links you send, your email address and your role at the club, so we can check the club and reply to you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the guide complete and accurate.
Claiming a club. We store your name, email address, phone number (optional), your role at the club, the proof you choose (an email address at the club's own domain, a code sent to the club's official Instagram account, or a business document) and the result of our review. If your claim is approved, we create an owner account for you. Legal basis: steps you ask us to take, and our legitimate interest in making sure that only the people who run a club can manage its page.
Club owner accounts. We store your email address, name, a hashed version of your password and the changes you make to your club's page, which are kept as versions until our team has reviewed them.
Featured listing payments. When a club owner buys a featured listing, the payment is handled by Stripe. Stripe collects the billing name, email address, billing address, tax ID (if you give one) and card details on its own payment page; we never see full card details. We store the Stripe customer and subscription references, the plan, the paid period and whether it renews, and Stripe sends us the invoices and payment status. Stripe's payment page sets its own cookies on Stripe's site. Legal basis: performing our contract with you, and our legal obligations for accounting and tax. Stripe also uses some of this data as an independent controller, for example to prevent fraud (see stripe.com/privacy).
Emails to us. When you write to office@padelsworld.com, we use your message and contact details to reply.
Club listings. Club pages contain business information (address, phone numbers, booking links, opening hours, prices) from public sources and from the clubs themselves. If a listing contains personal information about you, for example a personal phone number, tell us and we will correct or remove it.
How long we keep your data
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data.
- Club submissions: up to 12 months after we have handled them.
- Claims: for as long as you manage the club's page, and up to 12 months after a claim is rejected or the account is closed. Business documents uploaded as proof are deleted within 90 days of our decision.
- Owner accounts: until you ask us to close the account.
- Featured listing payments and invoices: as long as Bulgarian accounting and tax law requires us to keep them.
- Emails: for as long as needed to deal with your request.
Who we share data with
We don't sell personal data. We use these service providers to run the site, and they process data only on our instructions:
- Hostinger: server hosting.
- Cloudflare: network, security and file storage.
- Resend: sending our emails (servers in the European Union).
- Stripe: card payments, invoices and the billing page (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., Ireland).
- Titan: our office@padelsworld.com mailbox.
- OpenFreeMap: map tiles, loaded directly by your browser.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, the transfer is protected by an adequacy decision of the European Commission or by the Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation, and for users in Saudi Arabia under the Personal Data Protection Law, you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its use, to receive a copy in a portable format and to withdraw your consent at any time. To use any of these rights, write to office@padelsworld.com.
You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. In Bulgaria this is the Commission for Personal Data Protection (www.cpdp.bg).
Cookies
We use only the cookies the site needs to work. See our cookie policy for the full list.
Children
padelsworld is not aimed at children under 16, and our forms are meant for adults.

If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page with a new date.
